I remember first seeing Jade Goody when she was the guest on one of those reality-tv shows in Britain, Big Brother.

At the time, I recall reading and seeing that many people did not like her, and "judged" her accordingly.

While it is always WRONG to "judge" people (unless you ARE "God"), once people lower themselves to this uncivilized standard, of course they typically have nothing to say, often invent things or outright LIE about that person, and this is when they are not busy making a point to tell everyone they know or all their friends, not only made up stuff, but report only the worst of news.

To briefly recount some of the "judgments" people uddered especially in the UK, Jade was labeled as everything from a "loser" to a "fat bitch," — to a "low life" — "a whore" — druggie, sex maniac, abuser, criminal, thief — you name it, people's hatred obsessed and manufactured it.

This same, disgusting behavior also affects the areas of the fringe and the lunatic fringe, where today, people actually try to convince YOU that YOU are "crazy" or "just don't get it" when you don't "believe" in such myths as "Little Grey Men from Roswell," ad nauseum.

Yes, it is ALL related — the subjects do NOT matter, ultimately, it is the PRINCIPLES which do. The subjects are just specifics, details, as much as our proud egos refuse to admit.

Then there was Jade

Now there was Jade, voted off the show and humiliated, hounded by the media and also labeled a "loser" and held up as an "example of what is wrong in the UK with its youth today" — Jade, like other victims, not only heard but FELT (in ways her hate-filled "kritics" could never relate to nor even understand) all of this, and like the very brave, honorable and incredibly strong soul that she is, was forced to endure it all.

Such false claims, precisely because they are NOT based on PROVEN FACTS (because they are NOT true!), ALSO STEM FROM HATRED.

FOR IT TAKES HATE and the feeling of HATRED TO ACCUSE SOMEONE OF THINGS WHICH ARE NOT TRUE!

Kevin Randle is NOT "honestly mistaken" — he is instead, DELIBERATELY DISHONEST.

Some people also say that we never went to the Moon, or that JFK was killed by more than one gunman. Those who know better, or simply don't agree or are not sure, are then "judged" and labeled and attacked, just like Jade has been.

And as history has proven, only because these SAME HATERS behave this way, it takes a tragedy to "wake" people up to what is only the obvious.

It took the "911" attacks to wake up the world to the global threat of Islamofascism.

It took the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl nuclear accidents to make managing nuclear power plants safer.

In both these and countless other examples from history, PEOPLE DIED NEEDLESSLY BECAUSE OTHER "EXPERTS" OR "THE SYSTEM" OR FELLOW HATERS "JUST COULDN'T BE BOTHERED" OR "KNEW EVERYTHING" OR WORST OF ALL — DARED TO CLAIM THE "RIGHT" TO KNOW and to JUDGE and to declare WHAT IS RIGHT.

Conclusion

The subjects mentioned in this op ed piece admittedly vary. This is further hard evidence of how they are also completely related. People are polarized over these subjects, they were polarized over Jade and now because she is seriously ill and ONLY because she is seriously ill, Jade is now suddenly a role model and everything positive.
